UpRys is seeking a versatile and proactive Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing Specialist to execute and optimize digital marketing strategies with a strong emphasis on design, strategic copywriting, client relations, and project management.

This role is pivotal in developing high-impact social media, email marketing, and digital content, ensuring a seamless and engaging brand presence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, design-savvy, and capable of handling urgent requests while maintaining long-term strategic initiatives. Success in this role means not just producing high-quality content but also managing priorities effectively, fostering client relationships, and driving projects to completion.

As an independent contractor in a part-time capacity, this role offers the potential to work with more than one client. We provide a flexible, remote work environment that encourages innovation, growth, and meaningful collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to promote UpRys’ services, strengthen brand presence, and drive audience engagement.
Create compelling and strategic copy for blogs, website content, and social media, tailored for B2B, B2C, and nonprofit audiences. Ensure messaging aligns with industry-specific challenges and opportunities while maintaining brand voice and engagement across platforms.
Design visually engaging graphics and multimedia content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to support digital storytelling.
Write, edit, and schedule content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing goals.
Manage and update website content using WordPress or SquareSpace to reflect key messaging, services, and thought leadership.
Respond promptly to client requests and internal marketing needs, ensuring quick turnaround times for urgent projects.
Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to develop marketing materials that support their business objectives.
Maintain a customer-focused approach, proactively identifying and resolving client challenges related to digital marketing initiatives.
Track, analyze, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and digital campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Manage email marketing campaigns using platforms like HubSpot and Constant Contact to enhance audience engagement and lead generation.
Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and digital best practices to keep UpRys’ marketing efforts innovative and effective.

Qualifications:

Must be currently living in the Columbus Metro area.
3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, and strategic/creative copywriting within B2B and nonprofit industries.
Strong design skills, with expertise in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and video editing software (preferred).
Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities for impactful marketing materials.
Ability to handle immediate design and content requests while managing multiple ongoing projects.
Proven track record in client relations, communication, and responsiveness.
Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, HubSpot, Canva).
Experience in website management (WordPress, SquareSpace) and SEO best practices.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns from concept to completion.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while effectively collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
