DEAL BREAKER: This is not a Full Remote position. You can either move closer to the HQ to go into the office 2 or ZERO days a week or live in the GREATER Southeast region where you can travel to the office a couple times per year (the company pays for all your expenses and provides housing).

We are actively searching for our new Corporate Tax Senior Manager for our Headquarters in the SE Coastal area. You will report directly to the Corporate Controller, with a line to the CFO and Executive Leadership. Corporate Tax Senior Manager Summary:

The Corporate Tax Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while optimizing the company's tax position. This role involves overseeing tax planning, reporting, and compliance functions, as well as providing strategic guidance on tax-related matters to executive leadership. We need a hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" who can interact and collaborate with internal finance and other business partners to ensure the timely and accurate execution of tax responsibilities.

Corporate Tax Senior Manager Duties:

· Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize the company's tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

· Lead the preparation and filing of all corporate tax returns, including federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters, including financial planning, transactions, and business initiatives.

· Manage relationships with external tax advisors, ensuring their work aligns with the company's tax strategy and objectives.

· Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in tax law and assess their impact on the company, recommending appropriate actions as needed.

· Conduct tax research and analysis to support decision-making and ensure compliance with changing tax requirements.

· Coordinate with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to integrate tax considerations into business processes and strategies.

· Oversee tax audits and examinations by tax authorities, working to resolve issues and minimize tax exposure.

· Support across a range of diverse and critical projects across the region including, cross-entity transfer pricing, calculating and managing tax basis as needed, M&A, and restructuring.

· Collaborate with senior management to provide strategic tax advice and support business initiatives and objectives.

Corporate Tax Senior Manager Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree and CPA are a plus.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax, leadership role experience is nice, hopefully with a large company or public accounting firm.

· In-depth knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, with a focus on corporate taxation.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing a team of tax professionals.

· Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
