Job Title: X-ray Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to perform diagnostic medical x-rays and laboratory-testing procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry, and will be proficient in phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. The X-ray Technician will adhere to the proper x-ray techniques outlined in the manual.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic medical x-rays

Follow proper x-ray techniques as outlined in the manual

Conduct laboratory-testing procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry

Perform phlebotomy including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks

Essential Skills

Proficiency in laboratory procedures

Experience with medical x-ray techniques

ARRT certification

BXMO or BMO certification

RT certification

CPR certification

BLS certification

Phlebotomy experience

Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO)

Florida Department of Health Certified Radiologic Technologist License

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification

Basic Machine Operators License for X-Ray

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate's degree

Graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO)

1 year of experience with X-ray in a healthcare setting

Bilingual (English-Spanish) is strongly preferred

Work EnvironmentThis position is 100% onsite in the lab. The shift schedule is every Saturday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and every Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The X-ray Technician will report to the Lab Manager.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20/yr.
