Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst (Remote)

Overview

Mission-driven organization focused on using data and analytics to improve healthcare outcomes. The Revenue Accounting team ensures accurate, timely revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Deal Desk, and Legal.

Role Summary

Individual contributor role supporting revenue operations during a high-growth period. Responsible for revenue lifecycle accuracy, contract review, and financial reporting, while contributing to system implementations and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Review customer contracts and determine revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Partner with Sales Ops and Deal Desk to ensure accurate contract setup
Document processes and identify opportunities for automation
Support financial reporting, disclosures, and SSP analysis
Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel tools

Qualifications

2+ years of revenue accounting experience with strong ASC 606 knowledge
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query)
Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce); revenue tools a plus
Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; public accounting experience preferred
