Job Description

The General Warehouse Worker is responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Responsible for accurately building and staging orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks

+ Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation

+ Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials to designated locations

+ Assist with the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse

+ Work in the recycling room, re-work damaged product and stack empty pallets and shells

+ Responsible for meeting productivity requirements

Job Requirements

+ High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

+ Prior warehouse experience preferred

+ Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred

+ Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach

+ Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

+ Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
