About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a talented video expert to support the Brand Studio team within the Marketing Org at Contentful. Brand Studio is Contentful’s in-house team of designers, content marketers, and PMs. The ideal candidate will excel in production and post-production activities, with deep expertise in video editing and animation.

What to expect?

Collaborate with the Brand Studio team to understand, scope, script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, project manage, and produce videos that meet audience and stakeholder needs.
Work closely with Creative Director, Content Director, and PMM Leads to develop videos that educate, inspire, activate key personas, and build a credible Contentful brand.
Create multimedia content including customer stories, internal announcements, promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, and training materials.
Manage daily aspects of video projects, including schedules, scope, change requests, and reviews.
Support planning and executing video shoots, including scouting and reserving locations.
Set up and operate production equipment such as cameras, audio, and video recorders.
Coordinate with stakeholders to rent equipment for on-site shoots.
Shoot various content types like interviews, B-roll, demos, and events.
Record and edit video and sound, including selecting formats, importing media, organizing files, editing footage, creating graphics, and managing media assets.
Publish and socialize videos across appropriate channels, ensuring accessibility for cross-functional teams.
Collaborate on measuring and analyzing video impact to inform future content strategies.
Brainstorm ways to repurpose assets to maximize content value.
Potentially handle photography projects as needed.

What you need to be successful?

5+ years in-house video production experience.
A portfolio showcasing impactful, end-to-end video projects, including live action and motion graphics.
Experience with designing and animating graphics in Illustrator and After Effects.
Background in graphic design, typography, storytelling, motion, and video disciplines.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback.
Experience with tech company content is preferred.
