Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia is excited to welcome another full or part-time Emergency Veterinarian to our multi-doctor practice.

Bay Beach VEH has a strong focus on exceptional client communication, patient care and medical protocol standards. Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital also has a General Practice sister hospital (6 doctors, fully staffed) located just 20 minutes away, in the heart of Virginia Beach.

Our area has almost anything you can imagine as far as activities, restaurants, breweries and events. Virginia Beach has excellent schools and specialized academies for students. There is also a wide range of outdoor activities and quick access to the mountains and ocean. An array of dog parks and outdoor activities like hiking are available along with much more to do and see.

Ideal candidates will share our commitment to learning and collaboration and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Highlights:

- Base salary for experienced, full-time emergency veterinarians: Up to 225k

- Commitment/relocation bonus: up to 75k for a 3 year commitment (range based on schedule and experience level)

- Equity opportunities coming in early 2025

- Optional production bonus plan with monthly reset and no negative accrual

- Skilled, experienced, accountable and collaborative doctors and support staff

- Experienced ER Practice Manager

- Several tenured emergency doctors and support staff; sister General Practice is fully staffed

- 25 credentialed technicians between the GP and ER locations

- Visiting specialists provide echocardiogram and advanced ultrasound services

- Comprehensive benefits package (401k with generous employer contributions, paid vacation/sick leave, health, dental, vision, liability, 401K, life & supplemental insurance, license and professional dues coverage)

- Continuing education allowance and full week of paid time off for continuing education

- Additional customizable continuing education stipends for hands-on wet labs

Who we are looking for:

- Full or part-time Emergency Veterinarian - variety of shifts available. Overnight shift rotations are a requirement.

- Early career veterinarians seeking mentorship and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply; we have successfully mentored several new graduates
