Job DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time General Manager to lead our HVAC team of installers and technicians. Energy Solutions is a top provider and a long-standing HVAC company in beautiful Lake Almanor, CA, a mountain resort area in Northern California that is thriving and growing.The ideal candidate for this position is looking to leave the hustle and bustle of city life and enter a four-season resort area with unlimited recreational opportunities. This candidate must have experience as both a manager and service technician/installer for a minimum of 5-10 years in an HVAC company.As our General Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our HVAC company with the potential for growth. Energy Solutions does residential and light commercial services in heating, A/C, solar, and sheet metal fabrication. Our services cover a 75-mile radius of mountain communities, and the company has an excellent reputation with its repeat customers.This management position will earn competitive pay and will be based on experience. Energy Solutions also provides health insurance and retirement plans. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual that will be a strong team leader and has the vision for potential personal and business growth.Our ideal HVAC Manager

Monitor and implement our company's processes as well as provide technical support to our techniciansWhen necessary, you will assist in the field with technical issues, callbacks, and troubleshootingPerform estimates on repairs, new installations, and management of service contractsIn addition to recruiting, hiring and firing, you must also maintain a consistent, structured technician group training program covering the areas of technical skills, safety, customer relations, sales, sales leads, and other processesEnsure each technician maintains our high standards of business dress code, upkeep of vehicles/tools, and customer relationsProvide individual coaching and training to the technicians on ways to sell heating and cooling systems that best meets our customer's needsConduct performance feedback sessions with technicians to help them reach their goalsOversee estimating, scheduling and ordering for jobsMonitoring inventory, tools and vehiclesRequirements for HVAC General Manager Position

3-5 years of experience as an HVAC manager5+ years of service technician/installer of an HVAC companyEPA certificationValid driver's license and clean driving recordComputer and technology literacyBenefits & Compensation
