CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a national financial services company dedicated to serving military families and veterans to seek out a talented a Bank Compliance Analyst to join their team. If you have 3+ years of experience in banking, financial services compliance, or regulatory testing, we want to hear from you!

Job Title: Bank Compliance Analyst

Location: Hybrid Remote! Equipment Provided.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Business Hours

Pay Range: $67K to $75K + Bonus Opportunities

Duration: Full-time! Be a permanent employee from day one.

Responsibilities:

Conduct quality control testing to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for financial services.
Analyze transactional data and internal records to identify compliance risks and operational gaps.
Assess policies, procedures, and internal controls for alignment with federal and state regulations.
Document testing results in compliance with internal quality standards, using Excel for data analysis.
Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommended corrective actions.
Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to investigate issues and implement remediation measures.
Monitor and track open compliance concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and data collection for risk assessments.
Research regulatory updates and compliance inquiries as needed.
Participate in internal compliance discussions and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of three years of experience in banking, financial services compliance, or regulatory testing.
Strong knowledge of consumer protection regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with banking compliance systems (e.g., Jack Henry, Cognos, Verafin, Actimize) preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIA, CRCM, CFE) a plus.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret regulations.
Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presenting findings.
